Changes in our short sea schedule

Giving our customers more possibilities, more capacity and a greener way of transport we are happy to announce changes to our short sea offer between the Netherlands and Norway and the UK.

Twice per week from the Netherlands to Norway

From the port of Moerdijk in the Netherlands, there will be two weekly departures, with arrivals in Oslo on both Mondays and Wednesdays. This means more flexibility and capacity for our customers who import and export from/to Norway.

On the sea route from Utrecht to Kløfta you reduce CO2 emissions by 75% compared to road transport (FTL, FCL load) when moving from solely road freight to sea freight with pre- and on-carriage.

The new port call at London Thamesport

Additionally, we are introducing a new call in London Thamesport (60 kilometers from London, in the South of the United Kingdom). Adding this alternative port should make the route from the UK to the Netherlands even more sustainable.

Short sea with the local presence

We have an extensive network of short sea connections with Norway, Poland, the Baltic countries, as well as Iberia. In combination with road transport and multimodal solutions, we have even greater possibilities of reloading and cross-docking from all over Europe. Our local presence in these countries is a huge advantage for our clients. We provide supervision over the entire logistics process and a wide range of services, including customs clearance.
