Distribution manager Trucking

The trucking department is responsible for picking up units at the port and the railway station. The goods will then be delivered directly to the recipient or our terminals.

We are looking for a proactive person who thrives in a busy everyday life and who works as well independently as in a team. You need to communicate well with customers and colleagues, and easily build good relationships. Your workplace will be our new terminal at Kløfta outside Oslo.

Tasks

  • Planning and management of delivery and collection
  • Close dialogue and follow-up of drivers
  • Extensive contact with internal and external customers
  • Follow-up and reporting of CPI/target figures
  • Cost control of carriers
  • Work continuously with increased efficiency and profitability in your area

Desired qualifications

  • Relevant work experience
  • Good understanding of economics
  • Quality-conscious
  • Structured
  • Takes the initiative and is self-motivated
  • Good Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
  • Good computer skills
  • Good local knowledge
